. . . because they can't.
And that's what OHEA is all about: Making sure that compassionate human voices are heard on behalf of homeless animals who cannot speak for themselves.
We work hard to rescue death row animals and to educate humans so that fewer animals will die in the future. We're a volunteer organization, proud of all we've been able to do on a tiny budget.
But commitment and compassion can't do everything. We need dollars, too. Because "rescue" means finding new homes; providing initial medical care; helping with fencing, food, collars, leashes, and toys; building a sanctuary of our own where no homeless animal will ever be killed.
And "educate" means paying for pamphlets and posters, mailings, classroom teaching materials, office supplies, spay and neuter clinics, adoption clinics, promotional events.
Even a few dollars goes a long way. On behalf of all those who can't tell you so themselves, thank you.

his love, his leader. He will be yours, faithful and true, to the last beat
of his heart. You owe it to him to be worthy of such devotion."
